Summary
This data file contains egg to adult development times (days) for female and male D. melanogaster originating from a high and low altitude population at five latitudes collected in 2002. Development
times were scored for groups of 10 eggs and emerging flies were collected, counted and sexed every 24h (ten populations) (Fig. 3).
